Being a viet con gai lover for the last many years, i will say that around a quarter of the viet gals in met in HCM City has that special charm that is not diaplayed by our singapore counterpart. i normally do not fall head over heeds over a viet gal easily, but till now, i have experienced the charm of 3 special viet ladies that takes my breath away. First being the rich viet gal i mentioned in my earlier post, the 2nd being my lovely wife and third is my lover in HCM City (btw, she's an undergraduate that speaks average standard of english). Seriously speaking, i have not felt similar charm being displayed by our singaporean gals.

Does vietnamese gals consider sporean men to hv the special charm, or SWM hv the special charm?
I always believe the vn gals will like the SWM more, becos maybe is due to their culture. Vietnam hv been in french rule b4, and fench hv mate the vn gals. The americans hv mate wif vn gals during the vietnam war!

Yes, their thinking is that Spore Passport = Sporean dollars. But often, this dream is not easy to come true. From the process of applying for PR, many Viet gals have already realised that its not easy. The difficulty increases 2 years later when they apply for Singapore Citizenship. Like i mentioned before, the way ICA Citizenship Centre officers treat Vietnamese spouses is not too nice. And to become citizens, ICA requirement from the singaporean husband is even tougher in the areas of financial capabilities. That's the reason just a handfull of vietnamese spouses become singapore citizens although quite a number of them got PR.

I though the govt encourage sporean to make more babies!
Why nobody complain against ICA when they r rude to the vn spouses? anyway we r tax payer, part of their salary is pay by us!!!!!!!

Maybe government wants us to marry and make babies with singaporean gals. Too many of them are left on the shelve The next being vietnamese and PRC gals are always the 2 main sources of gals arrested during raids at pubs and KTV. So ICA has to be more careful. With the latest policy now, government is not hoping that singaporeans make more babies but they are going to attract more foreigners into the country. So be prepared to see more SWM flocking into Singapore as the prospect in their own country just doesn't seem too good leh .. hehehe

i thk more indian and chinese will come spore. if all these people flock to spore, i thk it is more difficult for vn spouse to obtain PR. what the f....
