My vb also usually buys 2 cartons of Eagle Medicated Oil back to her hometown... the only mistakes I made for the first time is I thought she ask me buy for her 2 Eagle Med Oil and I buy for her 2 small bottles of Eagle Med Oil

Izit the same price as for buying in bulk from medical hall or cheaper by many $$$$

I always here you guys buy eagle brand medicated oil but my vb tell me to buy axe oil. Is she a different species?

The cheapest is to buy at Mustafa. Buying a carton will be cheaper.

Maybe different tastes that all. Some of them like the Flower medicated oil

Anyone knows for Security Deposit as a local sponsor, do the sponsor pay the deposit in cash/nets on the spot or this is just a guarantor procedure? Meaning pay only if something happen? I think the max is 3K right?

as a guarantor to sponsor a person to be in Sinkie land...dun need to pay any deposit...need to fill up forms provided by ICA...inside the wording means you guaranteed all the expenses and liability should this person you sponsor runs into any trouble...including repatriation of the said person back to their country...

cut and paste from ICA Form 14...and also need to fill Form V39...http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=180&secid=178

"I shall be responsible for the cost of the applicant’s repatriation and maintenance pending such repatriation, if necessary"

My question is why take such risk...why bother to be local sponsor...

I asked because in list (m) of the V39I form, it says

"I/we further agree to .... a security deposit of $____ in the form of Bankers' Guarantee/Cash order as condition."

So need to know if $$$ needed on the spot so that I can go there prepared.

Need to submit form 14 and form V39I.

"Security Deposit

Some applicants may be requested to furnish a Security Deposit in support of the application for extension. Where applicable, the local sponsor should furnish the required amount in the form of a Banker's Guarantee, Cashier's Order or NETS. "

any individual should be able to enter singapore on tourist visa unless the said individual is ban from entering...esp Vietnam VBs have no problem to visit based on personal merits...

If I don't remember wrongly, for Vietnamese, they don't need a Visa for entry. I had checked before that we can't apply anything like Visa. Even after applying a Visa, they don't have 100% entry. Please check with ICA again and correct me if I was wronged.

The girl was refused entry. ICA advise me to apply as a local sponsor for her.

She was supposed to download, complete and sent in Form 14 and send in the form to an address provided, while I do the V39I form. How this comes together, I am not sure. Do we sent in separately?

Vietnamese don't need a VISA for entry.

Asean treaty la...dun need visa to travel to each other country for up to 30 days based on individual merits...unless they had been banned from entering...

Just tell the truth. A normal friend, won't risk to be her sponsor. Most, including u will roughly know the reason why she was refused into SG. 1-2 weeks tour in SG??? If u want to be her sponsor, just get ready to face the trouble.

Yes send both forms separately.

The problem with her is that she came to see me too many times in a year. She's a friend, I say, not normal friend. I think I will ask her to come only 2 times a year and 2 weeks each time.
