U really lost track of the world now, of coz only 1 .. nowadays infant care already cost 1k and nanny cost 550-750, more if babies start eating solid food. Good branded childcare cost 1.4k. Ask them out, keep saying tight tight, no budget.
That's y some of my friends quitted their jobs to look after their own children.
The super kiasu ones already sent their toddlers n children to multiple enrichment courses coming close to 2k. Somemore very fussy, milk powder, pampers everything want to buy the most ex!

Seriously, fr my experience, i'm single but have 4 married siblings. Their wives/husband r fr different countries but all got along well. IMO as long as both parties can click, have a common goal n happy tgt, all obstacles can be overcame.

My Wife is working as a stall helper, earning barely 1.5k per mth which she sent half of her earning back to her parents.

I'm only working as a delivery man. My gross is abt 3k so ya...

Interesting thread. In my old office I had a Vietnam colleague she told me not uncommon for view bride match make to Singapore men and they would make recommendations if they know the person directly. Yes all young between 20-25. Spoilt for choice indeed

Reno no need 50k, I just did my parent's 4 room hdb-major reno 30+k including furniture & app abt 40k. If BTO, 20k is enough. Now is not a good time to buy car, take cab or public transport. If require rent car lor



Unless you and your future wife are big spenders and don't think about saving then even both are working, staying in SG no matter how much you earn also no enough.... spend within your limit, most Singaporean want FACE and overspend
