Vietnamese gals who go for matchmaking are often very much in need of financial asistance. As long as the guy looks normal and have the money to be matchmake with her, the vietnamese lady will be alright

Need financial assistance do not mean in debt.
Vietnamese gal are mostly from poor family. Poor = Need financial assistance.

May not need pay debt after marry but need to support her and her whole family.... even worst, relative, friends if know that she got better life elsewhere may ask for financial assistance also.

Bro KT is right about this. After marrying my wife for the past 4 years, i have got several request for `loan' from her relatives. Her sister, brothers, uncles, aunties etc etc. But we always have the right to say NO to them

no need to support whole village la bro, just the family members are enuff to empty your wallet and credit cards

Recently my friend viet spouse (a normal village gal) hv run away with her son. their marriage lasted few years. for the past few years my frd and his family members treat his viet spouse very well, and did not hv any evident of abuse on her.

I don't know the exact reason of the run away,i thk it is something to do abt feeling, becos i supect this viet gal do not hv feeling 4 my frd, despite my frd treated her very well. also the age play important part, my frd mid thirties, the viet spouse early 20s.

My frd is a gd husband that do not cheong in nite spot,but i thk becos he is a 'wood head' that also contribute to his spouse running away.

this is some of the sad story of having a viet life partner.

Earlier in the thread, i think we discussed about this problem. Actually, there's a number of viet spouse that ran away from their singapore husband. Most of them got together from the match makers. The main reason is the lack of love. When match make, the lady hopes to get a better life abroad and the husband wants a wife. So even when there's no chemistry, the couple comes together. As a wife, she has to submit to the husband's sexual advances even though there's no love. This is no good feeling, and feel just like a WL. So after trying for some time to get the feeling and still cannot get, they will run away

Maybe she's still very much in love with her childhood sweetheart in her hometown.

supporting the whole family and relatives financially, and the risk of lack of feeling for love... so sad for both parties. so tough even for those looking for foreign bride thru agencies.

Bro, Don't give up on finding a vietnamese life partner.

IMHO i still think vietnamese still the best life partner in this region, vietnamese r family oriented and care for their life partner.
