yes bro....they dun stamp when you go in by rail coz the malaysian CIQ is still 'technically' in Tanjong Pagar but they do stamp the exit stamp when you leave malaysia.....remember to keep train ticket for verification......

bro, r u sure? i ask my gal when i called her two weeks ago when i was in KL, she said she can see my number display...KNN, better be consistent....any telco expert can confirm this???

bring my gal to JB..??? no way... first of all, i dun like to go JB myself... second, she is not holding red passport so may have problem at immigration... let's keep it simple... nothing more siok than staying overnight at her apt...

As far as I am aware when my gals called me from overseas be it China, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, etc. The caller's number displayed is always the word "Unknown".

I am using M1 by the way.

If the caller's number is saved in the receiver's mobile phone and is prefixed with +65, it will appear even if dialled from abroad. Bro Cheri, you have many unknown gals calling you lah, HAHAHAHAHAHA

another trick i try is to head to woodlands and once u log on to the malaysia telecom operators switched it off...... now anyone who calls u will hear the malay announcement saying ur not in coverage area..... but this is for those u dont do overnite lah.....

If you are using Singtel then you can tell your OC that you use the *121*65{phone no. }# to call back SG. This call back system always display your phone number when you call.

Under the divert section, just key in the Malaysia Country Code +66 then continue with the pre paid card number.

Have you tried this? The last time I tried, it is not possible even by adding +60 (+66 is thailand country code). The best way is to subscribe to caller ring tone where the caller will hear music that you pre-set, so no way to tell the country ringing tone difference. Another way is to divert all calls to voice mail and you could call back the caller when needed.

Those with phone that support symbian or pocket pc could find call management software that will answer designated number with preset voice message like "I am busy in the meeting now, will call you later." is pretty useful too. Unless, she keep calling, otherwise this will keep her quiet for awhile.

Go to www.roamingsms.com and create an account.

Use the followme feature and you can be anywhere in the world and nobody can have a clue as to where you are when they try to call you. It will always have the standard automated respond of "Please wait, while I connect your call....."

It actually save me alot of $$$ whenever I go to CN as all my incoming roaming calls are diverted to the local followme call and then further divert to my CN number which has a free incoming prepaid.
