For those brothers who doesn't know, majority of Vietnamese are covered under healthcare insurance. When they are admitted to public hospital, they need not pay as insurance pays most. They only need to pay a bit for medicine. So if any of your VB or VS(Viet Spouse) ask you for a large amount of money for their parent's medical bills, tell them go fly kite.

my girlfriend told me this as well.... her mum always need to go hospital for followup and followup the followup check... no need to pay
Enhanced Medishield not a problem for LTVP holders, Insurance for LTVP holders will need to include a 10% loading.
So now thinking whether to buy them Insurance in VN
