I am 101% with you, prices from these so called Korean restaurant are expensive comparing to their quality.
In Batam, best is to either go for Indonesian/local food or any of the seafood places, most of them are cheap and good, forget about the Japanese, Korean or even Western food, most are half fuck standard and expensive.

Ever came across seoul garden, but can't remember liao, only remember when I passby, inside like empty, no customer at all. For japanese food, once went to Kazu, beside hotel 888, but was told today kosong, no stock on sushi. How's the standard there? My oc like sushi, but seem hard to find in batam, expect those higher end hotel. Any place can recommend? Bring from spore will be better choice, but I always lazy to carry anything while travel, so thot of just buy at batam.

Seoul Garden is now located at the shophouse beside Wallabies pub/cafe (if you know where that is), Wallabies is next to Panorama Hotel, let's say you are facing Panorama, look to the right side across the T junction road, Wallabies is at the corner shophouse.

Japs food, the better ones are at the top floor of Panorama Hotel and the other at the pool side of Holiday Inn hotel, warning!!! = both are very costly.
You can also try Novotel on Saturday and Goodway on Wednesday nights for their buffet dinners.

But as I’ve mentioned, unless you die die must have these food in Batam, otherwise go to SG for more and better choices.

Thanks bro. Wouldn't be having full meal there, just tabo some sushi only. Will try the Panorama one.

If Sushi, it's better to try those buffet nights, can eat all the sushi and sashimi you or rather she wants, prices also reasonable, the one in Panorama is more for full meal type of dinning.

Will check out both novotel and panorama. I tried novotel before, but long time ago. That time price reasonable, 2 for only 250k.

Oh now at level one, still remember that time open my room door infront is the massage place. Quite interesting that time, my gf inside my room, then I was curi ayam opposit of my room, some more only cover by curtain

haha panaroma that one i been there few years ago
i use to stay the hotel during that time
the longest i stayed there is 6 nights straight
the jap restaurant at the upper floor
i brought my ex there to dine
not exactly costly but they served you very well
especially the boss daughter who is a japanese
very chio...but now maybe old liao

maybe you can try taking her as your third one?
