I took my son out with my gf when my OC went overseas. He was too young to carry tales but has since grown up. These days, I tell my OC that I have a business trip to coincide with hers... also have to make sure that I really travel.

Smarty pants eh? Once I kena aeroplane by a silly cow, come back early complain teleconf got aborted (bad connection, last minute decision etc). Some more, collect brownie points for next foray hehehehe

You guys solidzz can lie with your eyes open but I a bit difficult and guilty thinking of lie to her and spend a few nights with a gal that is interested on me. Yeah... always have to turn a bad situation... those brownie points do add up. For more brownie points, return home and cook instant noodles for your own dinner and complain that the aborted telecon made you miss dinner with her and that you have to suffer a poor dinner now.

Don't get me wrong... the guilt DOES come... but usually after the deed is done.

Any of you work for the media? I'm working for the media which is 24/7, I have to do shift work like night shift or some time over time till very late.

for those who work nite shift you can use that as an excue.

Then when big event comes, like IMF, etc.. better still. can stay away for a few days. cos need to cover event.

But all the actuall fact is I too off.

What I realize is that never answer phone from OC when at work. make a habit. and eventually she will not call you when she know you are at work.
