the staff were very friendly and shy
but the massage cubicle just nice enough for a mattress and some space

Just for your information, WaveMaster Ferry charging surcharge of $5 for trip to Batam from 1Feb till 6Feb, no booking thru phone, fax allowed during these period, only buy thru counter.........
If you buy the ticket from the counter in advance, "no show" mean forfeited, unable to change timing.......
Heard from counter, alot of the timing already full for these dates, but late night ferries is available.......
And i suspect Sunday (6Feb) ferry back Singapore from Btm will be packed and crowded as well, you might like to book you return ticket in advance, the counter at Btm still accept phone booking for these period (+627787415100)

Massage at 40K per hour for 1.5 hours? CHEAPEST ever seen. THe gals earn nothing, only specials only.

The normal massage without specials for 1,5 hours usually cost about 60K, in some ulu places.

hi guys! im an nsf and im planning to go to batam in mid march this year with my camp mates. about 3 of us. i already did some research on the places to go . We are planning to depart on fri night after book out and be back by sunday afternoon. just to check, would 200 bucks be sufficient for this trip (including ferry)?? our trip would incl visiting bars, pubs and discos. arnd nagoya district. shopping and boring stuff like that would be kept at minimal. mainly partying. im also worried that some of the guides here in this thread might be outdated. i heard that there are newer clubs that have been opened and stuff. should we also share a room or have a room each? hope any kind soul would help me out here. thanks! happy chinese new year btw! take care guys.


p.s we actually planned to go this week, durin cny. but that aint gonna work as i had guessed. and i also heard that march would be the sch hols? fuck man. that's not gonna ruin our vacation right? ))

200 bucks for 3 days can if only you divert yr Tekong ferry to Batam and stock up your combat rations for 3 dys and playboy sex books.

You can withdraw in SGD currency at UOB Indonesia ATM but there is a $5 transaction fee. You can find UOB ATMs at Nagoya or Jodoh area. There is a UOB branch near Hotel Harmoni and also one opposite Planet Holiday hotel.

Change your currency in shopping centre like Nagoya Hill or Megmall. They gives a higher rate than those at ferry terminal. Always ask for higher rate. they will give it you to.

Bro theBIGbang, no offence OK. I just like joke.

Nowadays, 200 bucks is really not enough when all the prices are going up if you want to stay in hotel like Formosa, Harmony, Grand Pacific, Holiday Planet, etc. And want to choose young and pretty gals where prices are at least Rp500K and above.

10 yrs ago, I only bring S$150 is more than enough for 2 days, 1 night where budget hotel (very clean) is only Rp60,000. Gals at Sedona Rp150,000. KTV average charges only Rp200,000 and makan at coffeeshop is about Rp30K for 2 persons.

Nowadays, even budget hotel average Rp160,000 like Lai Lai, Batam Star, Sinar Bulan, Prima Asia, etc. Gals at Sedona, at least Rp300,000 (other joints about Rp400,000 and above) KTV for 3 persons average about Rp500K (beers only without hard liquor), than makan, taxi fare, ferry + + + +….. So you add up everything and see whether it is enough anot.

So for 3days/2nigth bring at least S$300, ferry not included. Maybe you still can survive. Depends very much on how you want to enjoy.
