I'm going to batam on 25 to 29th...this time I will try to walk from HBF to Formosa Hotel to familiar the place.

Anyone know where is Hotel Bali? Would like to go to Indah 2...ask my cewek before she replied me "kat sana" when we were at Formosa...LL

According to the following map, hotel bali is west of formosa. Estimated should be about 15-20 minutes walk.

From formosa walk towards west pass nagoya citywalk will reach hotel newton at komplex nagoya new town, walk further west to reach hotel bali.

Batam map

From the map you will notice that formosa has a very good centralised location of nagoya town. Seems like can jalan kaki to most of the place on a one kilometre radius.

North of formosa - harmoni hotel/angmoh pubs/batamstar/bahari/hotel lailai/goodway hotel/abi massage/sport massage/goldbird

South of formosa - windsor area/penuin area/BCS/hotel penuin/hotel astro/hotel ozone/swiss inn penuin/pemata indah/lovina inn penuin

West of formosa -hotel bali/hotel utama/hotel pagoda/DC mall/massage 82

East of formosa - Pelita area include hotel pelita, polaris hotel,hotel singa,wisata hotel,maxim,sensasi KTV etc

Northwest of formosa - harbourbay mall/pacific palace hotel/novotel hotel

Northeast of formosa - hotel purigarden(the hills hotel)/hotel trinity/ I hotel/hotel virgo/hotel seruni

Have any brother been to stay at sentosa hotel which is north of nagoya square. The hotel has in house massage and KTV, is cheap at 230k per night with swim pool and breakfast ? But seems like the hotel is a bit isolated.

i often use there for curi ayam.

standard room start from 160k.
room come with bathtub.
swimming pool ok, but dont look like really clean.
non hotel guest pay 10k to use the pool.
breakfast consider ok, with that price.
the building is isolated but near to nagoya.
hair salon, 50k cut and wash.

Wow after reading sbf cheong trip field report, really got the urge to go batam again. Hope that i will be able to follow on the next cheong trip in coming march.
