If you don't wanna spend money on a viet gf's relatives, then get a RICH viet gf. Maybe some well-educated daughter of a general. But then, you also have to be equally, if not richer, than her family.

Bro, army generals in Vietnam are not as rich as their police and immigration counterparts. But most importantly, the richest will still be politicians.

marrying foreigners is deem for the poor only. Vietnamese think that only the poor family will marry their daughters to foreigners to get money from the foreigners. The rich will not want looked at by others that way. My first experience in Vietnam with the daughter of a rich and power politician many years ago has taught me this.... only poor go for foreigners, the rich will marry within the rich and powerful circle in Vietnam.

currently i know two vietnam gals from upper middle class family. they behaved like spoilt singapore gals with lots of demands and very materialistic as if their cheesepies are gold plated.

they refuse to eat at foodcourt, minimum sakae sushi, complain and shop alot expecting us to pay for them. expect us to understand them for their demands. it seem the singapore gals' unreasonable phenomenenal is not restricted only to singapore afterall..

why i no luck meet good wives' material like singviet's wives, they go thru thick and thin with him before he become successful. where has the old true love has gone? the part where wives will go thru thick and thin with hubby which is common in my parents' days gone with the wind?

hahaha...not sure where u got to know them...if u knew them while they studied here in sin then yes, they are influenced by the locals liao...some of them studied here for many years...

During my current trip, I learned from my galfriend that infact her family members always ask her whether I give her money. Things that she buy for her dad and bro are her own money but she always say its from me.

She has been lying to them that I am rich and provide her monthly allowance. She say that if her family knows that I am a poor sillyporean, they will ask her to find other rich guy to marry.

Now she is really looking to marrying me and stay in sillypore in order to get away from their demands. She keep complianing that she is to tired to look after her family all by herself.

Not only middle class family.. even low/no income class.
This is what i discovered from the younger vn gals in GL/JC...
The younger generation really expect us to meet their demands...
