Honestly, I do not really know the legality of BDSM in Malaysia. I am not sure if there has ever been a legal precedent in the Malaysian courts regarding BDSM or if it is in the laws of Malaysia.

Being a Muslim country, I would expect it to be probably illegal, just like anyone in the LGBT community can testify. This just makes everything go underground as there is definitely a thriving LGBT community here, but everything has to be hush-hush.

If you look at the fetlife and collarme websites, you will find many Malaysian members who are into BDSM and seeking Masters and Mistresses. Malaysia is probably like Singapore in that there are more subs than doms, so to find a dom is definitely not easy.

Our standard of living is also much lower than Singapore, so I would expect visiting pro Mistresses to want to go to Singapore first rather than Malaysia as they can earn more in Singapore. I would expect pro Mistresses unfamiliar with Malaysia would be perhaps put off by the fact that Malaysia is a Muslim country and want to avoid any hassle that may arise holding sessions here.

Having said that, visiting Mistresses should not face any problems if they hold sessions in hotels rated 3 stars and above and if their subs are non-Muslim, providing there is no excessive noise emanating from the room!
