The bulk of my experience is between 2010 and 2015, when I was frequenting China 8 to 10 times a year. Made some occasional trips after that, but my last trip was probably 2018. Not sure how much the scene has progressed (or regressed due to covid?), but here it is.

I have paid ranging from RMB 800 to 2,000, usually for a 90-min or 2-hr session (most of them quote this as a minimum). As can be expected, tributes are higher in first-tier cities like Beijing and Shanghai. GZ and SZ are on the higher end too. Note that higher tributes may not necessarily equate to higher quality - enjoyed the RMB800 session immensely. But that was in a smaller city, which might explain the low tribute. Most of them were 1.4k to 2k.

I have tried the independents as well as 会所 (usually foot fetish). I would say I prefer the independents. They usually have nicer, cleaner premises if you are doing incall. For outcalls, they may require additional transport charges, or may require you to book a hotel room in an area convenient for them.
