I've never bought a pre paid locally before, but don't you need to give yr personal details when u purchase one?

I'd like to maintain my privacy as much as possible so appreciate if there's such an option to share.

Yes local prepaid from authorized distributor required ID upon purchase according to the law. Maybe you can buy old numbers for telegram use from shady sellers if you not looking for prepaid number for calls/sms.
