I am genuinely pleased to share some information I have gathered from reading this Hanoi thread and would like to summarize the best recommended hotels, ktvs, bars, MPs, tips, restaurants and other places of attractions written by other senior brothers (please note: some info might dated a few years back, hence prices might have fluctuated).
I myself have NEVER VISTED Hanoi. I always do a research (reading at least 100 pages) in the thread before approaching senior brothers out stationed at Phuket for other information and references. This is to show that you are not lazy ass to just pm seniors for some stupid questions which most likely already been repeated within the thread. To all newbies, this is the way you noobs should do before just anyhow approaching senior brothers for information. What's worst, never ask for WL contacts from the seniors that have sincerely contributed their experience and information. In sammyboy, you will never be spoon fed!
Anyway, disclaimer: the information below is gathered from at least 100 pages back. So some places might have moved, prices fluctuated, etc. Things change. Alas, although things do change, these information are still valuable.
Hotel:
1) Fortuna Hotel
• Girl friendly if girl belongs to Boss KTV
• Bigger rooms, better breakfast
2) Hanoi Hotel
• Address: 8 Giang Vo
• Girl friendly if girl belongs to Hanoi Hotel KTV
3) Nha Nghi (Motels); Chained Budget Hotel like 81
• Address: 66 Bui Thi Xuan walking distance to 139 Bui Thi Xuan (local KTV), Many are located at Ngoc Van Street
• Pimps will pull you in local 300K for ST, foreigner 600K for ST
4) Rising Dragon Hotel*

Whore Houses:

BJ Houses:
1) Address: Along Pho Veng Street
• Many pimps along the road
• Open until 1130 pm only

Freelances:

• Address: Junction of Chuong Duong Do and Hong Ha Road after 11pm

5) 5/4/3 star hotels are NOT girl friendly
6) Chemistry is most important when choosing KTV girl
7) Tam Quat = economy class massage, VIP Massage = first class massage; but only up to HJ in Hanoi
8) Select low cut dressed girls at KTV
