Bro maybe its because we are near the year end..its the peak season for travelling thats why air fares are going up.
I just booked a flight to Manila NAIA on Tiger Airways next month November and it costs more than 500 sing for my gf and me 
Want to travel this time period than have to pay the price hike lor....
Just my 2 cents.
