I knew, given the circumstances that she probably guessed she was positive but chose not to do anything about it.
If I were in her situation, I would probably do what she did.
Personally, I am very sad that such a nice girl like her ended up in this position. She deserved better in life, she doesn't even spend much of the money she earned for herself....
