that's why all those lucky draw, registration etc....depends on who is doing the lucky draw, i don't always join or just put minimum info. some take all the personal information ic, add, phone, date of birth...etc.....many people give these info away too freely which is dangerous cos they can use these info to scam the people you know.

Also there are some restaurant ask you leave your business contacts behind by throwing your name card into a bowl....those normally are sold to data mining company for their clients...
