as usual after work, i waited for JJ at the other side of the carpark. i watched her customer walk her up to her apartment. i watched him come down and drive off. few minutes later, JJ was in my car and off we went.

we had a quick supper at geylang and surprisingly tonight JJ paid the bill. it was her pay day. she gets paid middle and end mth. different agents/boss have different practices. out of curiosity i asked her how much did she make.

Me : how much u get today?

JJ : hmm.. today only get flower and ladies drink money. salary not yet.

she was paid a basic salary + commissions.

Me : so how much?

JJ : these 2 weeks not so good. some customers busy never come. about $5000

Me : what?! 2 weeks you made $5000?

JJ : yea. last time about $7000 to $8000.

Me : so 1 month you make more than $10000?

JJ : about $15000.

crap... that was more than me! that was more than most of the guys who patronize thai discos. this was 12 years back when there were not so many thai discos and not so many thai gals. not much competition. nowadays, only the popular gals make this kind of money or more.

JJ : you know what phone is good? my going to spoil already.

Me : Nokie N80 lo. just launched. very good?

JJ : ok.

Me : why?

JJ : my customer ask me what phone i want?

Me : oh.

JJ : u want?

Me : huh?

JJ : i told my customers my phone spoil. 2 of them asking me what phone i want. i ask both to buy. 1 for me. 1 for you.

what the fuck?

Me : really? N80 latest. have color.

JJ : ok.

5 minutes later...

JJ : tomorrow give you.

Me : so fast?!?

well to cut the story short, the next day, i was having a late lunch with JJ. at about 4pm, her phone rang. she answered and then told me she would be meeting her 1 of her customer at sim lim at about 5pm. we finished our meal and i dropped her off 5 minutes before 5pm.

515pm, i received a text

JJ : got the phone! pass to you tonight.

Me : that's fast. thanks!

530pm, received another text

JJ : reached home already.

Me : so fast? no dinner with customer?

JJ : no. buy phone then he send me back.

poor guy. just spent $900 and didnt even have dinner with her.

i told myself i will never bring a thai gal out for shopping, unless i have already fucked her. another important lesson learnt!
