Sigh!!!! This is what gambling has causing his and his family life. Being a good friend of him for 10 years , I discover we human being can't really resist on gambling whether in football, casino, horse race and others. Real hope every sngaporean will keep away from gambling especially casino.....

If i can choose i rather use the money to have fun (HJ, BJ, FJ).

U have my console dude. Find it quite a pity. Death might not is one only things to solve the prob. If he is willing to voice out, I believed his friends n church fellows definately willing to help.

Well, is all in ones mind. If u want to gamble in any kind, always tell yourself is for fun n excitement only. Set aside a capital sum if u want n if finish than stop.

I do bet in soccer n when I happen to b in Genting, will set a fix amount of money n play. If no luck will just walk out n go breath some fresh air. But say easy than done, not all ppl r like me who know how to control as n when the situation arise. There r no right or wrong for a casino, there's always 2 sides of a coin. If u treat it as an entertainment n fun everything will b fine. Just like some ppl like a high end KTV, some like cheap thrill LSB or TN so n so for. At the end of the day, is down to personal choices. To gamble for fun or b a hardcore gambler or simply don't step in, the choice is yours! Just some opinion of mine.

Sigh...why he so hiong? As in kill his wife and 2 kids? Ownself do = ownself die...why drag other ppl in? At first, i really pity him but now i really look down on him.... :rolleyes:

Bro, I totally agree with your point of view.
I do not know why, seems to get very upset over this suicide case.
I really feel Very Very sorry for the two kids and the wife, Why kill the family?
As a man, you made a mistake You better go and Face the music yourself, why pull others with you ?
Gamble is fun, But we must know our Limits, if you can only affort to lose 1K then limit yourself there, after lossing the 1K, Stop there then come back other time when cash is available ! Never borrow money to Gamble!
Not to curse a dead a Man, BUT is really a very Selfish act!
I believe the wife can still survive without him around, so why deprieve others chance to live !

Poor woman and kids.......hope that they will Rest in Peace !

He killed his wife and children (based on current reports)....borrowed from other people.....and now he committed suicide and left all the problems to others....I dont think it works that way....

After he die, besides killing his loved ones he also saboed his friends who lend him money also!! His church pastors got chong 10k for him, 5 of them. Another good friend borrowed 50k to him.....cheebye loh....now he die his friend also die. :mad:

When I heard the news I was very upset about the whole incident. What kind of father and husband such a person can be. Want to gamble but cannot face the consequences. In this Ah long world if the debtor die, the debt is write off. By killing himself he can solve his problem; but no he is so selfish and want his whole family with him. It was indeed a tragedy for his wife and children but NO HIM! Hope his wife and children rest in peace..

Don't blame gambling. Blame himself.

This matter is blown out of proportion because now singapore is having casino debate. There is nothing wrong with the casino or gambling, just that if you don't know how to control yourself, no one can help you also.

I can't resist seeing beautiful women, but do I go around raping and molesting them?

All are just reasons to justify actions.

becoz of gambling he ended his life?

once he gamble away all his life saving, he started to borrow from loanshark but luck is not on his side and keep losing. The money he own to the loanshark is getting more and more (he own many loanshark $$$). You should know best how the loanshark trying to get their money back.

Conclusion is that loanshark is the culpit that ended a person life, gambling doesn't becoz once he/she loses all their money, they will stop gambling. Only the stupid loanshark lend them $$$ to get them back into the gambling table. Therefore i feel that no hate building a CASINO in Singapore and we should condenm all loanshark in singapore by giving them death sentence when kana catch.

i totally disagreed with u, what got to do with the loanshark? did the loanshark force them to loan money from them? those fellow should know the way loadshark retrieve their money if u unable to return in time. if not happy then go borrow from bank, see how 'nice' a bank retrieve money from u. bank and fianical film are just licence loanshark, no different. in this word, there is no such things as "force", if ur head not so big don't wear such a big hat, if really want to wear big hat, make ur head big first, if cannot, just wear a hat which fit ur head. is a matter of "control" urself. don't put blame to other people. hope no hard feeling, nice day.
