Just wish to share a story with fellow samsters on my own personal encounter that started from a KTV. To show how sometimes we can still fall into the KC trap, regardless of how we think ourselves as seasoned players. It was in Feb 2020. I went with my friends to this KTV at Textile Centre. This group of kakis will usually select their regular PRC dates. I picked her and she seemed genuinely surprised I did so.

She sat beside me, and she introduced herself in almost perfect local mandarin. It turned out she is not Viet. She is a Thai Chinese. I had seen my fair share of Thai born Chinese but this girl was different. She was really very Chinese. More like a local Chinese in fact. I could also tell that she was very reluctant to call herself a Thai, even though she is of Thai nationality. We conversed in chinese and thai and we got very comfortable taking with each other. She said she is in Sg on a S pass and she is working full time in some engineering firm. She only started working in KTV recently as it seemed "fun and easy" to her. To me, she was trying a bit too hard to show me that she didn't really need the money to be working here in a KTV. I enjoyed myself talking to her but she seemed a bit too local savvy and can even sing old Chinese songs very well though she said she only started working here recently. And I also know that Spass from Thailand are very rare. Seems like she has something to hide, but then again, this is what you will expect from KTV girls. Tipped her for the night, exchanged watsapp numbers and left it like this. A good night message was exchanged when we both reached home.
