TKPS Deaths - MOE COI?
 

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

MOE has no choice but to conduct a COI for the loss of 11 lives. It's not overreaction. It is necessary to prevent a similar incident

The aim of the COI is to not to find fault and penalise anyone.

The aims of the COI must include:

1. Measures to prevent a similar recurrence
2. Find out whether the risk assessment protocol used by SG schools is adequate
3. Lessons learnt
4. Any other matters that are relevant

What can be prevented must be prevented.

Why does it take MOE so long to decide to have an Inquiry? Does MOE really think that an Inquiry is not necessary? The COI must be chaired by an Independent Chairman, preferably a Judge.

Where is leadership in MOE and Singapore?
