These cheap hotels will soon be hard to find soon.

There is oredi a rm10 foreigner tax fee that hotels must collect from you on behalf of the Gahmen. And akan datang will soon be minimum rates that hotels registered with the Hotel Association cannot go below.
They have to charge rmXX for a room based on the guidelines and cannot go cheaper even if they want to.

If you want cheap..... need to look for those unregistered hotels or guesthouses in future.

There are many options there. It all depends on your preference.
Any area specific, Austin? Audi? or any attractions you and your girl wanna visit?
Dog cafe? Bistro?
It’s only from there then you can shortlist the hotels.

$70 actually very reasonable pricing… as what some mention where u intend to go? KSL hotel weekdays less than $60 weekend maybe $80-100?

Need more details, weekday or weekends ? weekends more expensive.
Pure bang or bang rest walk walk eat eat.
In general, just make sure its the type that needs a card to enter lift(KSL,Paragon), then won't have other girls in hotel doing business.

For standard room on weekdays less than $50, everything inclusive.

Note, tower 2 east facing(facing the night market road) not a good location due to the sun, can feel heat emanating from the windows during the day.
Would rate the place 3/5 for hotel, but 5/5 for the location.

There are many Airbnb which are below $100. There are a handful below $70 as well.

Just need to slowly find and choose. With Grab around, travelling should not be too much of a problem.

Your price range ok liao mah.

Don't expect a 4/5 star place. Just a clean room with a comfy bed and a good shower. U will spend most of your time shopping anyway. Mostly at this price no fridge, but most have water dispenser at lobby.

Here are the ones I tried...

Leverage (I werid red light at the window thou, curtain cover still will seep through, alot of food near by very near to paradigm mall)
Amerin (opp perling mall, bus from 2nd link direct)
Berjaya waterfront (rooms a bit old, but big and got duty free alcohol, but go out need to pass thru security)
Here Hotel (near Sutra Mall, quite small rooms but alot of food around, careful cause they also got dorm, make sure u book the room)
Hotel Terbau CT (very clean rooms, I saw they use IR light on the bed to kill germs)
Solid hotel (rooms quite nice, but a bit far from city)
KSL hot spring (location not that good, nothing much around, quite close to paradigm mall, the hot spring tub use to be better when it first open, now not so warm.)

The ones I have yet to try... MICO, 1 million, Hako Terbau/City. On my list to try one day.
