After looking at the not-so-desirable conditions at Merlin Towers, I decided to ask around the motels near City Sq for short-term/transit rates if any. Below are the data that I have gathered within 2 hours as at 21 Feb 2024:

Hotel City Gatway:
2 hours - RM55
5 hours - RM85

Hotel Dragon Inn:
2 hours - RM60
5 hours - RM120

Hotel CIQ:
3 hours - RM90
