kim is here in sg to visit me again. (those of you who know my history will understand) as usual, we will be going for HIV blood test. however, she is on antibiotic medication for urinary tract infection.

will medication affect result of HIV test?

HIV is a virus and antibiotic medication is for bacteria so it will not affect the result of HIV test.

Yes, an HIV test will not be affected by antibiotics....

A tip for you.... Some women are prone to UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), which is what your girlfriend has.... 'Cranberry Juice' is known to help prevent UTI. I had a girlfriend before who would get UTI sometimes but when she started drinking cranberry juice, it solved the problem... You can check this on Google...

NO, it will not be affected by medication. The test will check for the HIV antibodies.
