An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
US Dollar went up by 1% last Friday
1. Was it really because of the wonderful 3.3% job-growth report in US? bearing in mind that the Fed just stated their position and hiked 25bp in the middle of the week. So rightfully, the impact from the positive job report should be minimal.
2. Could be hinting at some kind of escalation in the middle east between Israel & Iran/Hezbollah? Or in Ukraine?
3. US Dollar shortage? HSBC USA disruption in DTCC...
