Is Singapore blocking Cloudflare WARP 1.1.1.1?

I'm unable to access sites like Pornhub and sammyboyforum.com recently even though I turned on Cloudflare WARP 1.1.1.1. This started about a week ago.

Cloudflare WARP was my go-to app (both on phone and desktop) to access banned sites from Singapore.

I'm using my friend's VPN to access this site now.

Does anyone has the same experience? I'd love to have the free service back if possible.

Actually VPN slove all these problem. Switching your network and IP to another country.

I'm just wondering is the FREE Cloudflare WARP 1.1.1.1 still working for everyone else.

As I still see banners on this site promoting Cloudflare WARP, maybe the BOSS can help to answer the question. Thank you.

I'm having the same issue with my older ohone running android 10. Unable to connect since last week. No issues on my newer phone running android 12. Stumped me too.

If you are on iOS, private relay works fine as well.

If on Android, why not just change the DNS?

1.1.1.1 is not the only public DNS. A simple google search would have shown you that.

I was having problems with 1.1.1.1 for the last few days too.

However everything is working fine now.

WARP is having issues since few days back. you can select connection via 1.1.1.1 and it should work fine. tested and proven using it now.

Noted some changes with CloudFlare. Work around for IOS. Open CloudFlare app > Tapp the three bar icon > go to Advanced > Connection Options > DNS Settings > Protocol Options. Set to DNS over HTTPS.

This workaround only works if you setting is DNS over WARP.

For IOS, go to Protocol Options in the CloudFlare App. Change to DNS over HTTPs

While WARP was down, I used the suggested workaround of just changing the DNS server on my PC (I didn't know I can just do that, :p)

Out of curiosity, my question now is if we can just simply change the DNS server to one of the followings to bypass censorship, what is the advantage of installing WARP on our PC or phone?

Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1
Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8
OpenDNS: 208.67.222.222

Not everyone knows how to go to the settings by themselves (even after Google-ling). Even if they manage to get there, modifying the settings may not always be the simplest of tasks. Windows OS can be a labyrinth to navigate. Some may also be scared of modifying these values themselves. Hence, such applications exist.

Most VPNs slow things down somewhat whereas DNS over HTTPS actually speeds things up in most cases.

Free VPNs are the worst as bandwidth is extremely limited.
