I would say largely individual preference/ability.

For me I find not so much the number of shot but rather the time period. Best advice I can give is pay to learn what works for you.

When I first started (still new too) I thought I young, DIY fast so 1 shot sure can within limited time frame but when come to actual performance is completely different. Perhaps some experienced bro's go in immediately can game on and full steam ahead but everyone is different and for me the first few experience was terrible but a good learning experience. With the clock at the back of your mind, you will feel pressured to perform and sometimes that works counter to what you need and you end up finding it harder to reach climax. I kid you not it got up to a point I cannot even stay erect.

Subsequently begin to opt for longer sessions and I find the pace is more comfortable for me not like rushing through from shower to action and ending but have time to break the ice, warm up and get familiar with each other.

That does mean that it costs more per session and can chiong less but quality over quantity for me any day. :)

I say again for myself:

If there is chemistry between the therapist and from the repeated visits I may ask for 2 shots (1st immediately and 2nd at about last 10 minutes before the session ends.). There is a condition, my offer is $70 to $80 for both with or without auotoroam.

For one shot is I offer only $50 with autoroam otherwise no deal.

I try to go for $50 entrance fees. Those $50 shops that I visited only have curtains as partitions and shared common toilet. The therapists mostly are in their mid thirties & average looks and not syt/pretty ones. These are the therapists more willing to accept my 2 shots offer.

Don't ask for contacts, roam around the island and may find them.

Two or one shot?.............sometime zero shot

Recently visited a spa at Binji. Seldom pay $88 , just got pay and good mood.
Therapist Cxxx came and I said above average sensual massage.

Turnover and last 10 mins was offer $50 shot. I wanted autoroam too. Answer was "no" and so no deal. Blue balls but zero shot.

So do expect zero shot if the pricing/service is not accepted to either party.
