Just returned from the show. Should I say it's the most horrible movie I've ever been to? The setup is like a budget production. There's only 1 sex scene if any bros is going for that.

There's no ending to the show. Basically the show is about stories about a few different people. Just jump from A's scene to B's scene, B's to A's, then A's to C's... you get the idea.

Try to tell myself it's an artistic movie, but dun think I can convince myself on that. I wouldn't recommend it. Wait for vcd to come out, Bro who still wanna watch in cinema, you've been warned :p

Plus: The girl in the sex scene, dun think I would want to bong her if she's doing FL. That's the standard.

Hmmmm... Lust Caution is at least more watchable than the Pleasure Factory. It's an artistic movie which most people can relate to. But if you're looking for sex scenes, then get the uncensored one. After censoring, the movie is not really a sex show already, unless you're going for the storyline ;)

Same director that made "my beautiful boxer" directed this GL movie. Its a rush job. the inclusion of the 2 army boy in GL is a creepy similarity to a recent event in the newspaper. Documentary style, follows 3 characters as they walk through GL. The army boy talks about discovery, the china WL talks about the WL knowing that everything is a show, a fake. That the army boy will never call her. This is a hope that probably some GL harbors. The guitar man n the other WL is that the girl is a songstress and in the guitar man, she finds comfort, finds hope in a hopeless situation. The toys and the ice-creams reflects that in their hearts, they still want to be girls. Bec the toys, the ice-creams gives them that simple comfort that they seek. The senior WL and her daughter talks about a mother's delimea in working in GL, not being able to reject any ugly old fool that wana poke her. But when choosing between $ and her daughter, the primal instincts takes over. The WL choosing to pay for the long hair guy reflects that the senior WL wants to retain her dignity, that she is able to pay for her own food. The song is meant to bring out the emotions and pain that is in the mother's heart. It ends of with the long hair guy sleeping with the girl to reflect that the cycle will probably go on, the trade will continue to flourish and ppl will continue to be part of the pleasure factory. - Starts and ends with the fish tank: the fish and the person that choose the fish.

V boring because there is HARDLY any talking. Just expressions, emotions etc. But then again, how many bros talk when they go GL? Most just ask how much, wat service, go fuck and forget anyway. Unless you wana do a HK triad style movie for GL. But will gahmen ppl say ok anot? lol

In all fairness, i think the movie, no doubt slow at times, is good.
I would recommend my buddies to watch.

I feel there are indeed parts of the movie that me and my friends could definitely relate to.

For those of you who go with the idea of it being a porn flick, you will definitely be disappointed! Its not porn, its about life (at least thats what I feel the director is trying to portray.) Just watch it as you would a foreign film.

To sum it up, it is a mixture of boredom, interwined with visual/audio humour, romance (prostitutes have every right to find love!), littered with interesting bits of dialogue here and there. I think overall, its a movie about life. I give it a 3.5/5!

Worth watching in my opinion. Go watch.

Yeah, lots of the extras are FLs in Geylang. Still can see some of them around eventhough the film was filmed in Dec. last year.
