A woman was spotted performing a sex act on the driver of a Mercedes while he sped along at 103mph.
Traffic police noticed the couple engaged in the act as they drove alongside them in an unmarked car in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
The driver was forced to pull over before being reported for speeding by police who then seized his vehicle after releasing he had no insurance.
They later confirmed that traffic police noticed the speeding Mercedes and followed it before noticing what was going on.
Traffic police tweeted about the incident, saying: 'Imagine our officer's surprise upon drawing level with it, still at high speed, to find the driver & his lady passenger busily engaged in an act not mentioned anywhere in the Highway Code.'
It said of the driver: 'He's been reported for his speed, as well as driving without due care & attention.
'Plus it turned out he wasn't insured to drive the car, so we've seized it. He's probably had better nights.'
In response Andrew Horton said: 'At that speed he's lucky he didn't have a blow out.'
Another user joked: 'and who said men can't multi task???'
David Watts added: 'Truly shocking. Putting people's lives and their own at risk.'
