Not too sure if many brothers know of this trick.. only for youtube downloads..

If you have a link for youtube video, i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmmjPbYU1og
then to download the video and named it anyfilename.flv, just add the word "kiss" in front of youtube.com i.e. http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=nmmjPbYU1og

if you are using firefox. theres a plugin called video downloader. small in size, yet can download videos from youtube and a few other video hosting websites. worth a try.
