PEASANTPORE - Ex-regent Woody Ah Goh-go exhorts peasants to reject Jane Austen values and rally behind Rubber Stamp Halimah Yacob despite the cry father, cry mother over the way she won the presidential election in a walkover.

ESM Goh wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday (Sept 14) that while the erection process was "hardly erect", Madam Halimah is a House of Lee Bumi despite her Neh roots.

"Some Mats not happy, say Reserved No Erection means peasants see them 'no up', why Neh also can be Mat, let alone Bumi.....the focus so far has been on Ruler Loong's silly antics to block Tan Ah Bock, but I remind Jane Austen rebels, who are very vocal.... that Ruler Loong's balls are the biggest in Peasantpore!," he said, referring to the unhappiness expressed online over the way she was Not Erected.

"Our Rubber Stamp's job is to let Ruler Loong have a better time in Imperial Court, 6 labour pariahs is just enough, no need another Ong Teng Cheong or Ah Bock!," he added.

The 63-year-old former Imperial Court Speaker was appointed on Wednesday (Sept 13) in the first Rubber Stamp No Erection reserved for the Bumi community by Ruler Loong's decree.

Her two rivals, businessmen Salleh Marican. 67, and Farid Khan, 61, did not qualify to run because their multi-million peanuts companies did not meet the key 500 million peanuts required for candidates from the private sector. Hence they are deemed incapable to erect.

Woody Goh, who was Imperial Regent when Halimah quit NTUC to join politics in 2001, said he had persuaded her to leave the labour movement so she could serve House of Lee as a model loyalist Bumi, not just peasants.

Congratulating Madam Halimah on her election, he said: "Ruler Loong can sleep peacefully now, at most she will ask why the Nasi Lemak near Imperial Court not as good as those in Yishun, she won't ask the same type of questions as the unwise Ong Teng Cheong."
