View Full Version : Serious Singaporean doctor dies on the way to work in New Zealand

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

A Singaporean doctor who works in Christchurch, New Zealand collapsed and died while on the way to work on Monday morning.
Dr Husaini Abdul Hafiz, 50, was believed to be walking through Hagley Park in central Christchurch when he collapsed.
According to a stuff.co.nz report, police were called to the park at about 8.15am and a section of the footpath was cordoned off.

A New Zealand police spokesperson said that the death was not suspicious and that the case had been referred to the coroner.
Media reports said that family members are unsure about the cause of Husaini’s death, and that Husaini was not suffering from any disease.
He moved to New Zealand with his family about nine years ago, and previously ran a GP clinic in Choa Chu Kang. He leaves behind a wife and five children.
