A little bird from the West told me the background story to what has been happening to Sinkieland since independence:
1. Starting from the late 70s, Familee registered and operated a few companies that dealt with defense military equipment. They buy military hardware from the West and sell it at inflated prices to Sinkie gabrament, thereby making hundreds of millions of US$ in the process.
The little bird from the West told me that it is a common practise in countries where there is little to no transparency and accountability to their citizens. It pointed out that the family of Li Peng, former premier of Ah Tiong land, also engaged in the same practise but on a much larger scale.
2. In early 2006, the investment vehicles of Familee wanted to develop some properties in first tier cities in Ah Tiong land and encountered long delays. Old Fart wasn't at all happy with them.
3. In 2008, on the sidelines of the Beijing Olympics Games, Chief Natural Aristocrat met up with members of the Ah Tiong Politburo to discuss how Sinkieland could help. (This meeting on the sidelines was never reported by Sinkie state-controlled media.) It was then decided the Sinkie gabrament would buy hardware from the Ah Tiongs.
4. In early 2010 a member of Li Peng's family, although not officially registered as a Sinkie citizen but enjoys full rights of access to Sinkieland, approached Familee to help in the transfer of technical know-how of military hardware that the latter's gabrament has been buying from Western countries. Familee earn millions of US$ from such transfer of military hardware know-how and that accounts for how Ah Tiong military prowess has improved over the years.
