An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
SINGAPORE: A body of a 52-year-old man was found at Geylang Lorong 23 on Saturday (Jul 9), in what police called an "unnatural death".
The police said they received a call for assistance at 8am. Upon arrival, they found the man lying motionless on the ground. He was pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene at 8.11am.
Channel NewsAsia understands that there was a deep cut on the left side of the ear to the top of the deceased's head. He was lying in a pool of blood with his torso exposed, and a wooden stick was found beside him.
The body was at the scene when Channel NewsAsia arrived at about 11.50am. People at Victory Food Court, located beside the scene, said the deceased frequented the coffee shop.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the "unnatural death".
