An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
In a few weeks, the PAP government has shown their compassion and commitment to sinkees.
1. School kid dies because of SPF's poor handling of a misdemeanor charge
Minister comes out to defend the SPF to the hilt
2. Soldier dies because of MINDEF's negligence
PAP says that MINDEF has no contractual obligation for the safety of soldiers
3. 2 SMRT employees dies on the job
Minister is more focus on patting himself on the back for achieving milestone, just a cursory comment ( 3 sentences) about the death.
What a 'compassionate' and 'committed' government we have!
