There are just too many stick in the muds in Singaporean society.

If you watch documentaries featuring african tribes, the women are always completely comfortable walking around with bare breasts. For the simple fact that breasts are for feeding babies and not viewed as sexual objects.

I have to admit that i will probably take a few more peeps as a man since i am likely to never see that pair of breasts again.

It is normal to breastfeed in public if you ask me, just cover up decently. Not expose both breasts when you feed the child. That is good enough and i have no problems with that.

After all, babies get hungry very fast (once very 2 to 3 hours on breast milk) and it makes no sense to stay at home or disrupt your social life over something so natural.

My wife had breast fed all our children in public at some point. We mostly had no problems and most people were cool with it and respectful. There were however, the occasional guy who wanted to get a good view of her breasts.

I support whole-heartly to this "mum breastfeeding in public" or "expressing milk for storage".

Those who seems to be 'distracted' during the kind act of a mother, should reflect how you view society norms in a ridiculous way. It is not that the mother purposely exposed her bosoms for people to view for no reasons, to feed her child, that is nothing wrong.

A group of nine teenage girls (aged between 16 to 18) were prepared to have fun by the Siloso beach in Sentosa just like any other day, but instead they became the centre of attraction when a group of men surrounded them and started to take pictures of them without permission. The group of men appeared to be South Asians.

Shocked, the ladies immediately tried their best to get the men to stop taking photographs of them but to no avail. The men ignored their pleas and continued taking more photographs of them.

According to a local newspaper’s interview with the girls, Crystal (not her real name) said “all of (them) were very frightened when it happened”. “We felt very violated,” she added, “especially with the knowledge that our pictures are now in some stranger’s phones.”

It was only after “minutes” that Sentosa’s beach patrol officers (BPO) called on some policemen to disperse the crowd and to ease the situation.

When this incident circulated the public, there were many mixed responses to this issue. On one hand, some were as disgusted as the group of girls was. On the other hand, there were people who blamed the girls for wearing bikinis and claimed that it is only normal for guys to do that.

Lawyer Amolat Singh expressed his views on this issue- that Singapore has no ‘privacy laws’ and since there was “no intrusion of private properties” and “no harassment” then “the men did not do anything wrong”.

This is not the first time that such incidents had occurred in Singapore. Singaporean Nicole Tan, 22, told the media about a similar experience that she had back in 2011. She stated that she was made to feel like a “museum exhibit”.

To be best , try not to breastfeed in public.Do it at home or rm provided in public for these.Nowadays , many perverts around.May cause problem as too many foreigners.I ever see with my own eyes , foreigners purposely block bus walk way n make a female squeeze between to go thru.Itz a true fact.
