An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
1) You demand strong military. Talk about MINDEF scandals on spending. Say you will build a stronger and more demanding military. Look to build stronger ties with USA and China. Your votes will go UP!
2) Healthcare. You say not enough done. Show statistics compare with first world countries. Show lack of hospital beds. Say PAPzis shortchanging us and spending more does not mean have to raise taxes.
3) Job security. Will look into trade treaties to ensure Singaporean jobs are not sacrificed. Bar FTs being in position to hire. Increase penalties for those caught doing under table to 50 times the money they receive. Include mandatory jailterm.
4) Separate PA completely from politics.
5) No more state-controlled or influenced media
6) Increase penalties for terrorism.
7) Remove ISA for politics
8) All FT to undergo first aid training
9) New citizens have to be treated as citizens. So tell them about CPF and housing issues. Warn them that more new citizens means a poorer country.
10) No longer place HDB pricing versus private housing. No longer peg housing loans to CPF which is solely to be used for retirement.
11) Work closer with neighboring countries to harness their natural resources and our entrepreneurial abilities
12) Remove government and GLCs slowly to allow private sector to grow
