Stomper Chris and his wife were baffled by these unnatural-looking and tasting eggs, which came with the noodles he bought from a food court in Bukit Batok yesterday (Aug 30).
He described the eggs as 'spongy' after pressing them and said they had 'no eggy flavour'.
He got more eggs from the same stall to carry out his test again, this time with the help of the stall employees.
All of them agreed that the eggs looked 'funny'.
Said the Stomper:
"My wife bought two packets of ban mian from a food court opposite Bukit Batok MRT Station.
"As we had our dinner, we that saw the eggs in the soup looked funny.
"We took the eggs out and washed it. Tried to press the eggs but realised the eggs were spongy and had no eggy favour. They look so fake... please watch the video.
"Hence we decided to take the eggs back to the stall as we were concerned that other customers would eat the eggs.
"We showed the stall's cooks. They were surprised as well. So we tested a few eggs from the stall. The cooks agreed with us that the eggs looked funny.
"I hope the NEA can assist to catch the suppliers and block their supplies of eggs to Singapore. The stall's cooks and owners are innocent parties."

強國假雞蛋事件，相信大家都不會忘記，難道假蛋已經悄悄入侵新加坡？
事主Chris表示，他妻子昨日（周日）在美食廣場一個攤位，買了兩碗板麵回家作晚餐，但進食 時發現碗內的 蛋有古怪。「我們拿蛋出來清洗，嘗試按壓它時，發覺仿如海綿，而且沒有蛋的味道，它看來很假… …」
他回到食肆向職員及廚師展示這隻「怪蛋」，他們都很驚訝，然後再試驗其他蛋，他們均認同「事有 蹊蹺」。
Chris強調食肆老闆及廚師不知情，希望當局可以追查雞蛋供應商及禁止這些怪蛋進口新加坡。
