An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Locals unattractive to hire because:
> Salary Requirements: hard to lower because singos got extended family here, mortgage obligations yada yada.
> CPF: cant do much here also.
> NS: cant change this either
So what can we do to address these imbalances.
> Make FTs pay more income tax...plus additional tax for every additional unproductive member of their family they bring here.
> two tier pricing system wherever possible, like thailand does for farang...especially private home rents
Any more constructive suggestions? Renowned nutters like escher and john tan requested to stay out of this discussion ( lol...who am i kidding?)
