An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
It means that...
FOR each of all the previous erections which they talked about leadership or succession planning, it is all BS when a 72-year old MP
is standing again.
USING the excuse that the residents and MPs want him to stay on is just that - an lame excuse. Tan Chuan Jin is toast. Ting Pei Ling
has been toasted, as bread, not as the toast of the town.
THE other MPs in the current team are as useless as they come.
HIS REMARK that the PM acceded to his request for Edwin Tong is to demonstrate that he can still get what he wants; a show of 'power'.
NONE of the co-horts he has been bringing in over the years have demonstrated signs of leadership.
