A policeman was shot in the hand this evening at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital by a man he was escorting with another colleague.
The man had been brought to the A&E department just before 4pm on Saturday (June 20) after complaining of chest pain and asthma.
The man has been apprehended and the weapon was recovered.
The police officer who was shot has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.
