Ambassador honour for tragic Lisa Orsi in Singapore as her organs are donated to save six people

The family of Lisa Orsi face the saddest of homecomings after her life support was switched off in a Singapore hospital.
In keeping with the young Londonderry girl's wishes, nine of her organs were used for transplant and will give life to at least six other people.
Lisa's father Dennis revealed that Lisa was the first Westerner to donate her organs in Singapore and because of this she will be made an ambassador for organ donation in the country - an honour which has moved the family deeply and made them extremely proud.
Lisa (22) fell critically ill during a holiday to Indonesia on February 20 and never regained consciousness.
Tests carried out showed she suffered from extreme altitude sickness and parents Dennis and Sharon, who flew from Derry to be with Lisa, were told the tests showed no signs of activity in her brain.
Lisa had spent the past year working as a physiotherapist in a Singapore hospital, the same hospital that arranged for her to be transferred from Indonesia to it where the operation to remove Lisa's organs took place.
Her family have now begun the process of repatriation and are expected to arrive back in Northern Ireland early next week.
In Singapore, Mrs Orsi announced the passing of Lisa with a photograph of her smiling and raising a glass of wine along with the simple message of 'Good night all. xxxx". It has been a gruelling time for her family, both in Singapore and in Derry and Donegal where Lisa spent her formative years with her grandparents, John and Rosemary Orsi.
In a statement, the Orsi family said they are taking comfort now in the life that Lisa has given to others and thanked people who have steadfastly supported them during their ordeal, including the staff of the two hospitals that cared for her since she became ill, as well as her friends at home and in Singapore.
The statement read: "Even in this dark hour we can look to take solace from knowing that even in her death Lisa's generosity has brought new life to others and given them a second chance.
"Lisa has been very fortunate to be surrounded by friends both from her working life and her club-mates from the Singapore Gaelic Lions. Gaelic football has been a childhood passion for Lisa and we are overwhelmed by all that her GAA family have done for her.
"It is also important to express our gratitude to local representatives in Ireland Pat Ramsey MLA, Pat Gallagher MEP, and the staff at the Irish embassies in both Indonesia and Singapore. Their help has been invaluable and we thank them for their ongoing efforts to assist Lisa and the Orsi family.
