OK the final part of my story (The aftermath)

I have a lot of respect for women. On the whole they are more resilient, forgiving and strong (in character). Wonder wat I'll do if situation was reversed.

This addendum is for those bros who wondered what happened to the maid.

After putting her in the hotel, I went back home but told her to stay put and await my further instruction.

The next day, I took her to her agent's and explain to the agency's boss, (a nice man in his fifties and an ex police officer) that I have to relinquish her service. The reason being that she have problems wif my mum-in-law placing the blame entirely on my mum-in-law as cranky and unreasonable whilst giving my maid a glowing testimonial. Got a feeling the wily boss did not buy my story entirely and knew or suspect more than he let on.

Surprisingly without much hassle, it's over. All he did was asked my maid whether it's ok for her to be released early and me whether I'm willing to pay for her airticket back. Anyway her contract was close to completion and when we both agrees. It's done.

The agency even offers to housed my maid until her departure. Wrote a check to cover the airticket, admin costs and her outstanding pay.

With that done, I checked her out of the hotel and moved her luggage to the agent's place. A week later my maid called me and asked if I can send her to the airport which I did. Before putting her on the plane back to Manila, I gave her $2,000 and a last kiss.

The End...

I think we men tends to underestimate our women. Not knowing and choosing not to know are 2 completely different matter. Also as time goes on and all's quiet on the home front, we began to feel complacent and let down our guard. We shudn't. I believe as long as there are no hard evidence, our womenfolk will choose to believe we are innocent cos the truth will hurt too much.

Count yourself lucky ... my ex-wife is enjoying 35% of my pay-packet every month, for no better reason than the fact that I once said "I do" many many moons ago!!!
I'm certainly not alone whenever I chat with a newly divorced guy ... worst case I ever heard of was this:
Guy caught recordings of wife fucking around when he tried to find a thumb drive to download things ... broken-hearted, he approached the wife for a divorce ... wife broke down & begged for another chance, on account of their 2 children ... everything went well for slightly more than 6 months, when the wife suddenly told guy that she's ready for a divorce ... guy was okay with quietly agreeing until he realised that the wife expected maintenance/alimony amounting to 65% of his pay-packet!!
When he asked the wife if she thought he was stupid ... she just coolly said this: "I dunno if you are indeed stupid, but the evidence you held on me are more than 6 months old now & will not be accepted in the courts" :eek: :eek:
