An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Firstly long time no see and hear.
Secondly, after 22 years, there is still nothing to show for it. The equation is simple. Take the people which means the local voters with you. The issue is not WP or other other opposition figures. The issue is
1) too much intriguing, who said what, who is secret squealing, counter-squealing (wtf is that), juxta-positioning etc.
2) can't differentiate between main-stream politics and getting votes and champagne socialism
Thirdly, WP is getting more seats not because they have a swell agenda on Singapore and it's future but because the PAP is on a downward dive. If after 22 years, you can’t jump on the bandwagon, no amount of intrigue is going to help.
Frankly nobody gives a fuck who is wearing undies to bed. Spend a little time with Lee Li Lian and ask her to explain her success.
