She is here on a social visit pass.
Her family back home in Sumatra think she's here visiting her Singapore ex-boyfriend.
But Amelia (not her real name), 23, is here to sell her body in Geylang.
She knows the risks - jail and deportation, as well as being refused entry here.
But "Singapore is where you go to earn a lot of money", the petite woman said.
"I've had neighbours who came here and made enough to buy a home in my village, so why shouldn't I do the same?"
