Of course, worldly wise old peasants have yet to remind dumber local peasants that Moneybags Tarman earlier gave 1.6 billion peanuts as a soft grant for all transport cartels to purchase buses at taxpayers' expense.
This is proof that the regime tolerate incompetence and underperformance of regime enterprise but uses market principles to argue for constant fare hikes. This could be another mathematical trick that Cambridge taught Ruler Loong during his varsity days.

SMRT said it would continue to monitor the situation and any idiots calling for accountability will have their particulars forwarded to No Porn Lui for 'processing'.
