Do we have a narcissistic PM whose elitist stature makes him behave indifferently to Singaporeans?
What is the opposite of xenophobia? This brat of a PM has been harping that Singaporeans are xenophobes when they are actually concerned with the PAP’s mindless Population White Paper. At the same time, he has for a long time, been blaming Singaporeans for almost every wrong turn his government has taken. He never fails to believe he can do no wrong.
He has been, since day one, making connections between the Little India riot and his imaginary xenophobe Singaporean. Online citizens were calling on his stooges to not make insensitive comments and analysis before he started warning about them. He was only using the situation to further his agenda of branding online citizens. This is the kind of shitty PM we have. Instead of rallying every Singaporean toward a common cause – to respect the societal peace we enjoy – he is fanning the flames of fire towards his own people. Today, we are more likely to become criminals than the foreign workers he has freely invited in to Singapore. What the hell is he trying to say? What in deeper hell is he trying to stir?
To now make further connection, and casting aspersion, by remarking that Singaporeans are more criminal than foreigners is something for Singaporeans to reflect and digest. Is this the kind of PM we want, a trouble rouser and shit stirrer? We are at the breaking point of tolerance and he is still nonchalantly singing his ‘Singaporeans are more criminal than foreigners’ tune away.
While there are good reasons for Singaporeans to be apprehensive over the immigration policies, there is no reason for the PM to cast his suspicious eyes on Singaporeans; the same Singaporeans who have given ourselves 50 years of peace and harmony which made it possible for him to be in his current cushy job with a mind-boggling salary. We treasure our peace more than he does for sure.
I am tempted to call on him to apologize to all Singaporeans – but then again – we know his apologies are like the crocodile tears of his old man. The only way out is to bring him down to his knees come 2016. We are too peace-loving to tangle with him.
