Another entry from playboy Jackie Chan’s (成龍) little black book has been revealed. Japanese model and actress Aki Mizusawa (水沢アキ) opened up about her past relationship with the superstar during a variety show on December 1, adding herself onto the long list of celebrity women that Jackie knew intimately.

Although Jackie Chan’s popular action hero image won him a legion of fans, his name also became synonymous with an unfaithful married man. Tasting fame soon after his first starring film role, Jackie also successfully made his way to Hollywood in the 1980s. With a soaring international film career and a seemingly endless income stream, Jackie easily won over the hearts of many actresses.

In 1981, he met his now-wife, former Taiwanese actress Joan Lin (林鳳嬌). Joan became pregnant with their son Jaycee Chan (房祖名) and the two secretly married in the United States the next year. Per Jackie’s request, Joan gave up her hot acting career and became a stay-at-home wife. Throughout their marriage, Jackie reportedly visited home just once a year, and for the most part, left Jaycee entirely under Joan’s care.

Working an ocean away, Jackie often strayed during his long marriage to Joan. He was frequently linked with popular women, Teresa Teng (鄧麗君) and Brigitte Lin (林青霞) to name a few. In 1999, his extramarital affair with actress Elaine Ng (吳綺莉) was exposed shortly before Elaine gave birth to their daughter Etta Ng (吳卓林). While Jackie refused to acknowledge Etta, he admitted to the affair and justified it as “a wrong that every man in the world was guilty of.”

Jackie certainly has committed this wrong more often than some men. Aki Mizusawa recently spoke about her encounter with Jackie during her youth. She was sent to Barcelona, Spain on an assignment to interview Jackie on his film set. There they fell in love and became involved for a year, although Jackie was a married man and father at the time. Although Aki did not provide details, a simple search revealed that the film was likely 1984′s Wheels on Meals , a martial arts comedy directed by Sammo Hung (洪金寶).

Although they eventually parted ways, Aki has only fond memories of Jackie, describing him as a gentleman and praised his fit physique. Aki later married an American businessman and has two children. While she and Jackie did not keep in touch after their break up, the two met briefly a few years ago and remain respectful of each other.

When pressed by a reporter to discuss this relationship at a December 8 event promoting his upcoming film Police Story 2013 , Jackie only smiled and said vaguely, “We can discuss this privately. It is difficult to tell the whole story in just a few sentences.”
