An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
for most folks like you and i, we live in the past. are we able to live in the present?
take any part of our senses, it takes time for the stimuli to be transmitted to our brains and more time for the information to be processed. even a reflex action requires time for the reflex arc to trigger the effector. even the light we saw coming from a light source a metre away is a couple of nano-seconds late.
if we could only experience the present moment and not the past... what would it be like?
